Reason for Nomination: We believe we fill a gap in the forum world. The few similar sites that exist are subscription based, but ours is a free friendly site with a nostalgic feel that appeals to a wide range of age groups. We are a relatively new site that have attracted a steady band of regular visitors. We have actively used mods and additions to out site from vbulletin.org to improve the fun that our visitors have. We use this technology to bring people's memories to life.

Seconded (or, thirded?), I quite like what's been done here, even though it's based off what looks like a fairly standard look it just doesn't look near as plain as I thought it might, and they've done alot with so little. Kudos to you guys.

I also second this site, the customisation is really quite nice even though it feels a little empty in places, and it's a shame the box at the bottom left hand corner of their community homepage feels a bit cluttered (it thankfully doesn't look too terrible when javascript's turned off though), but when jumping into the forums themselves it didn't look or feel like vBulletin at all (I ended up having to check the source code to see if it really was, since the "Powered by vBulletin" line I was expecting to see was removed). Nicely done.

Reason for Nomination: PureTalkForum.com is a fairly new community, just under 4 months old. It has been newly redesigned with members' feedback in mind. We think that everyone should get the chance to experience this hidden treasure of the internet.

Description: We are a popular gaming community for Counterstrike players, with 3 active servers. We have a completely customized board, with quite a few 'designed-by-us' aspects, such as our Admin List and Regs List pages.

Reason for Nomination: The forum skin is unique to our site, as i designed the skin myself, as well as a matching ACP skin. i have customized many aspects of the board, including a nearly full-scale replacement of the original default vb images (based off the army-green images by breaker) (a select handful, such as yellow/red cards, remain default).

We have also added and customized a 2nd skin for those who like the darker boards, as well as a choice to use the vB Default skin if the user prefers. we currently have only 11 members NOT using our designed custom skin.

Reason for Nomination: Snow and Mud.com uses Vbulletin software that has been modified extensivly to serve the snowmobiling, atv and dirt bike enthuist. We would like to show you what can be done with great bulletin software and all these modifications that can be found on this site by all the coders that work countless hours developing them.

The website was designed by Miner Skinz, http://www.minerskinz.com, he put up with me while I constantly changed things and colors untill we came up with this. This site is based out of Western Canada, in the summer we move the atv/dirt bike forum to the top and back to the snowmobiles in the winter. The site has been up for 6 months now.
