just change the width to 100% or 99%

How would I do this?

dip1232001 03-04-2007 05:41 AM

go to admincp>Styles & Templates>style manager>[select ur style]>all style option then scrool down u will see the forum width...set it to 100% or 99%

CyberAlien 03-04-2007 06:16 AM

It looks great :D , but its not even close to "web 2.0" style. Code is not semantically correct. Gradients != web 2.0

Sparky_s 03-04-2007 09:56 AM

Few errors with mine.

Quick reply buttons etc are squashed. I reckon this could be the vBSEO.

If I have a category description, it ruins the forums index page.

Nice style, but a few errors have put me off.

collapse_thead.gif & collapse_thead_collapsed.gif
buttons those in the directory to
Quote:

collapse_tcat.gif & collapse_tcat_collapsed.gif

snowlion 03-11-2007 08:08 AM

wow, very nice skin

aj8690 03-11-2007 02:16 PM

Thank you so much for the great skin.

Next to "Members:", "Total Threads:", and "Total Posts:" There is nothing there. It is just blank. Does anyone know how to fix this?

And if anyone has any PSDs, please, please share them! It would be much appreciated.

Thanks! :)

thetopday21122 03-11-2007 03:13 PM

does any one know how to add more links in the top nav bar where the members and home buttons are found?

i have tried adding the links via the header template but to no affect any other files i have to edit?

aj8690 03-23-2007 01:31 AM

Yeah. You have to go to "All Style Options" and it's in "Additional CSS Definitions". The second box. I was able to do it after a lot of playing around. Check it out. http://www.puretalkforum.com.

sam anders 03-23-2007 03:26 PM

thanks for the info i have now managed to get the links to work just need to create new buttons images,

does any one know what font is used for the buttons?

yuriy 03-24-2007 12:59 AM

this is the hottest skin out there! wow you are the best!

Where can we get your website's skin? that one is so sick!

taheri6 03-25-2007 05:58 PM

I have vbadvanced installed in the root, and forums are in /forum sub directory.

On the vbadvanced index page, everything works great. In the forum index page things dont seem to work right.

Members:
Total Threads:
Total Posts:

are all blank on the forum index, but are populated in the vbadvanced.

I also had to make a copy of the style directory to place one in the vbadvanced root and one in the forum root or the css and images were all broken.

How can I fix this?

how can i remove that box? the small one above the welcome etc?
i tried removing it but it resulted in messing up my header and navbar (the navbar is now floating in the header )

ThreeVisual 03-25-2007 09:55 PM

Sorry I haven't replied sooner, didn't expect such a great response. I designed this in fireworks so the original image is a PNG and not a PSD, I have attached both (included a converted PSD) for those who wish to use it.

For those of you interested in the new Style:Reboot skin, I am not going to make it publicly available yet, I may do in the future if Style:Reboot goes according to plan.

thetopday21122 03-25-2007 11:35 PM

Thank you for adding the PSD files. I find it very helpful.

Thanks for your great responses.. i used your suggestions and they are working for me!!

Hostboard 03-28-2007 03:26 PM

First off I have to say I love this style though there are a few problems.

1. Images are not stored in the image directory
2. Some of his sites URLs are hard coded
3. Set for VB 3.6.2
4. Minor inconsistancies with code

i have installed this skin and done some changes and its works great,

1. images are stored in a folder called SR so its just a case of adding other mod images to this folder ;)

2. the urls are replaced via the templates does not take to long to change

3. i am running it on vb 3.6.5 with no issues at all

hope this answers your questions if not then the author might be able to help

You can try this however I am no coder so back up your templates!!!! And I have not tried this on my board as I am at work and just using backup files to pull the code, I will try and create it when I get home but in the mean time you can try it your self ;)

The code below will create a logout link in text format. It will display the word log out followed by the username so if your username was ?Sam? it would say:

Log Out Sam

Code:

<if condition="!$show['guest']"><a href="login.php?$session[sessionurl]do=logout&amp;logouthash=$bbuserinfo[logouthash]"  onclick="return log_out()"><phrase 1="$bbuserinfo[username]">$vbphrase[log_out_x]</phrase></a> -</if>

Now looking at the Reg button this is the required code:

Code:

<if condition="$show['guest']"><a href="http://www.yourdomain.com/forum/register.php?do=signup" target="_self"><img src="http://www.yourdomain.com/forum/images/sr/misc/reg.gif" alt="Register" width="71" height="22" border="0" align="middle"></a> </if>
(Remember the url and image source links have been changed to post on a public site ;) )

So what I would think you would need to do would be this:

Code:

<if condition="!$show['guest']"><a href="login.php?$session[sessionurl]do=logout&amp;logouthash=$bbuserinfo[logouthash]"  onclick="return log_out()"><img src="http://www.yourdomain.com/forum/images/sr/misc/logout.gif" alt="Log Out" width="71" height="22" border="0" align="middle"></a> -</if>
Remember to change the urls in the above example to fit your site and you will need to create a log out button. Like I say I have NOT tested this so I am not sure if it will work or cause errors but this is what I would do, when I get home tonight from work I will try and create it and once working will provide better instructions plus where to install it good luck and let me know how you get on ;)
