Just what i was looking for. Great mod. Some extra features like the auto emailing and different plans would be good though.
Thanks! Installed. |
great mod, but it would be perfect if one could change the bannerspots via the admincp (add or remove would be a great start!)

One small problem found. It seems it is not parsing BBCodes in Advertising note box. Can you please fix, why this is happening?
Advertising Description text gets BBCode parsed, but footer note is not getting BBCodes parsed. |
looks interesting...
|
Is it possible to customize the AD locations?
|

|

this appears to be a rip off of someone else work from vbhackers.com and am therefor uninstalling and using thevbhackers version although they the same i'd rather get the support from over there! |
Uninstalling too!
|
since this product was posted before the one released over at vbhackers. i take it the one over vbhackers copyed this once.
since its what Nick R does.. -.- Weird why it wasnt posted on here? Can't believe you nerds would think vietfancy, would copy someone else. disgraceful. No wonder so many people have given up releasing designs on vbulletin.org |
Installed, was easy and fast. Thanks mate :D

Cheers, Dave |
its pretty simple...
search for advertise template, and look for Code:
$$vboptions[price_ Code:
?$vboptions[price_ Code:
?$vboptions[price_ note you have to change all off them, there is several options in there. |
Cheers Smiry Kin's - That sorted the problem:)
There are around 5 or 6 changes to make: go into Styles & Templates, click on search in templates - enter $$vboptions[price_ The template to edit should come up. Click to edit. Enter search in template - to highlight each entry Then enter a ? in replacement for the first $, as follows: ?$vboptions[price_ Thanks again Smiry Kin's :) Dave |
How do you enter the paypal button?

It was suggested that I check out this hack here because I want to begin selling ads on my site. I read the whole thread. I also followed a link and read the thread of a nearly identical hack on vBHackers.com.

Nick promised an enhanced version about a year ago. It's still a no-show. vietfancy states this hack won't be supported and he hasn't offered any since January, even though he's been on the forum recently. I won't be installing either hack on my site. I don't support hackers who don't support their work. It's not a good idea to install something that you can't fix and/or modify yourself. I'm not looking for immediate gratification, I need long term satisfaction. I owe it to my members, my associates and myself. Jim |
I dont understand this step:
4. edit nabvar template ########### FIND ############ Code: <if condition="$show['member']"> <td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="login.php?$session[sessionurl]do=logout&logouthash=$bbuserinfo[logouthash]" onclick="return log_out()">$vbphrase[log_out]</a></td> </if> ########## ADD ABOVE ######## Code: <td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="advertise.php">Advertise</a></td> |
just place
<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="advertise.php">Advertise</a></td> aboive that coding |
ilovemyniche,
That step will add a link into your navigation bar for the advertising page that you're creating. BtW, this hack is great and I'm just trying to 'spiff' it up a bit and get my webshot of my site right now. But, nice work. :) |
I don't see a link to the demo? :(
