It didn't work when I first loaded the video on the forum but after manualy visiting the video URL http://www.myvideo.de/movie/13954 and then returned to the forum it did work.

The embedding code is the original embedding code from MyVideo.de so it must be a bug from MyVideo.de.

FYI I'm getting the same SQL Error when trying to edit the USergroup options. I know it's a known bug just thought I would report it :)

hotwheels 12-04-2006 09:14 PM

I changed the usergroup permission's to the original settings:

PHP Code:

ALTER TABLE `usergroupADD `anymediapermissionsINT10 UNSIGNED NOT NULL DEFAULT '3' AFTER `glossarypermissions` ;

Still no go, here i have youtube and google uploaded in this pic:

I also attatched my mysql:

MotMann 12-04-2006 09:26 PM

Now i have on my Portal (VbEASY) that problem, the same as other ones:

Quote:

Invalid SQL:
SELECT `media_info` FROM `vb_anymediainfo` WHERE `media_code`='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0hzuOPKnNg' LIMIT 1;

It comes only, if i locked in :( and the user can use the bb code. If i deaktivate that, than all runs okey.

hotwheels 12-04-2006 10:14 PM

Also, just want to say thanks for taking the time to put this into a beta stage and taking the time to help improve our video viewing.........i know this will end up working great in the end.

It is a big security issue however long they are stored for.

I suggest you also read the forum footer ;

You do not have permission to republish this site on your own.

Ok, but I would expect a little more support in my case as I'm developing a free service for your clients.

There are multiple links to your main site and just my thread of the mod is parsed and served from my domain.

All other links, for example to other threads are 301 to vBulletin.org.

Regarding the cookies being stored on my server, I really think users should decide themselfs if they trust it or not.

There is a clear warning on top of the site including links to vBulletin.org if users feel more secure to use vBulletin.org:

Warning By signing into this site using your vBulletin.org account your cookie will be stored on this server. You can trust us that we won't ever use the cookies for malicious activities however if you feel more secure by using the original vBulletin.org site you can click here to download the vBulletin Media Player from vBulletin.org.

Nothing hard about it.

2. import product..........
3. enable usergroup permissions......

Hi!

I've implemented your request, I've also referenced to your suggestion in the update.

You can set the permission to alow media in specific forums via the standard vBulletin forum configuration panel.

Regarding parsing of the vBulletin thread. For this I use Mod Rewrite and lib Curl.

just wanna say Great mod!

Can you add auto watermarking to any videos that are added or uploaded when being viewed in the built-in player?

That would be an invaluable marketing service for other websites that view your videos on your website.

Do you know of any existing PHP solution that enables to do this? Watermarking of images will be no problem.

Not watermarking images, but importantly, videos...

Great Problems :
  • The Icon is not placed in the Editor (was not shown).
  • When i try to enter a Video it does not show this Posting after saving.
    Refreshing the Thread brings only a white Page out.
    Deactivating vb Media Player shows the Thread again.

Using vBSEO! Excluding anymedia.php from vbseoCP makes no changes.

The same as everyone, if i wanna chance the permissions in usergroups. So the bb Code can't be shown in the editor from the user.

but with the new version is that problem fixed ;)

hotwheels 12-05-2006 12:07 PM

K, i just uninstalled your old product, and reinstalled with your new product, and here are the current results:

The permission's now show no error when you upload the .xml, but when you go into the anymedia bb settings, you can see my results........they are unset, and after you try to set them, they do not save.....
