I have tried multiple times to get a banner to show, and have had no luck. Here are some examples :

_NEW.bnr("IMAGE", "public_html/forum/cyb/banner1.gif", 10, 60, 468,

_NEW.bnr("FLASH", "public_html/forum/cyb/rampswf2.swf", 10, 60, 468,

I also eliminated the public_html/forum on both to see if that worked.

_NEW.bnr("FLASH", "cyb/rampswf2.swf", 10, 60, 468,

evertime I click save, and it saves, but does not show on my forum. 3.5.3

any suggestions?

Got it! I had to add the optional "$cyb_flashimagebanners" to my header for it to appear. How can I make this appear on all pages in the header?

I installed this and it works great. BUT how can i make the link open in the same window instead of a new one?

does this have to be at the top? I would like to add it under my navi bar.

i uploaded the product and everything went good... and the option is in my quick links.. my question is how do i do it? is there a post for stupid people like myself? I dont really understand code... i have no idea what to do with any of this here

ok nevermind my last post I figured it out... my next question I want to make the banners display randomly and also want to have just a text up there that says advertise with us with a link

so it would go banner1, banner8, advertise link, banner4, banner20, advertise link and so forth

am i making sense? can someone help? thank you

I need some help with this...I had it working for about 3 weeks and noticed that a link was wrong with one of the banners. When I go to change the data for the banner and try to save, it takes me to another login screen. When I try to login to that screen it gives a page error because it then goes to login.php in a directory it is not in. So, now it is not working and I have people that have paid to have their banner there. IF I cannot get a resolution rather quickly I will have to try another mod, but I did like this one.

It uses some admin function and requires you to be logged in to Admin CP when saving banners.

Login to ACP, then go to Edit Banners page again, check codes, then re-save.

This will be fixed in next version.

Great mod, was working fine until i installed vbseo. It causes the links to change e.g:

http://www.mysite.com/forums/http://...anners/gallery banner.gif

Adds http://www.mysite.com/forums/ to it. Anybody can tell me how to fix it? Thanks.

I am logged in when changing banners. That is where I go even though you can manage them from the main screen

Works on misc.php?do=cybfibrset page(i can see the banners in the position chosen) but not in my forum home.

Upgrade info:
-Save your current banners to txt file so we have backup in case something goes wrong during upgrade (this may happen if you haven't followed instructions on how to add new banners properly)
-Import downloaded product XML, allow overwrite.
-Check "Manage Banners" page to see if your banners are properly set and update if needed (to access this page follow "Manage Banners" link in "Quick Links" menu or simply go to misc.php?do=cybbannman). Be noted that only SuperAdmins can manage banners.

Thank you for the great MOD(s) :up:, I have most all of your mods installed now and I to am having some issues with some of them. I installed a new skin to the site this last week and now I am unable to get the Banner Rotator mod to work correctly, it's not showing up at all. Any Ideas? I want to use it to help my site sponsorship but I can't even get it to show up on the site now with the new skins installed.

Banner are visibles on misc.php?do=cybbannman page but not in forum home.
I can see only the banners title.

I use vbseo, maybe the problem is that?

just don't add your whole url do it like this here and that should work ;)

Use the whole URL man, its better cause it will work for CMPS.. at least for me thats how I had to do it to get it working.

My question, I want to add the banner to my custom skin, Enlighten. Now, it normally dose not show on the skin but it dose show on the Default vb.com original skin. I was wondering if anyone could help me and tell me how to add the banner to the custom skins? Thanks.

^^If I remember correctly the enlighten skin uses tables for its header so I dont think this mod will work for it.

hmm...its not showing up on all my pages....on my homepage it shows up, but other pages i just get a link...

and on vbadvanced the url is off, its missing 'forum' before misc.php. I've added it to my replacements but nothing...

I had to uninstall until i can fix up these issues.....

Ok most of this to work out....i realized if the image is on your server you can use the full link without vbseo messing with it....

MY ONLY PROBLEM NOW: is it shows up on vbAdvanced homepage, however the link from the image is wrong.....it reads www.mysite.com/misc.php ...it should read www.mysite.com/forum/misc.php ANYONE PLEASE HELP

NYMYTH, what you add to the temp so it would show as forums/misc.php and not just as misc.php?

Having the same problem..fairly sure it's also vbseo.

cyb_flashimagebanners - go to that template and look for misc.php? It should be midpoint, then relpace that will your full site URL ie.http://www.mysite.com/forums/misc.php

Seems to be leaving /forum/ out of the URL when you click it on the CMPS page.
