I would like to see something like this that is more customizable as far as the fields go...

I have no real use for a dating mod on my board.. but the members of my BB are always looking for sponsers (dirt bike racers) and so forth..

your program would work in the sense of a "profile" for sponsers to search out riders they would like to sponser.. but the feilds would need to be changed and or renamed.. is this possible?

I think that the perfect match for this hack could be this one vblogetin, it will be great if the developers could work on some kind of integration, dating module + blog script will be a killing solution, this doesn't have to be anything complex, it will be great if users can display on there blogs some blocks with info from there account in vbmates and vs in vblogin, it is just a sugestion.

If you want to use the same amount of fields is mcuh easy. Just change the values of drop list (located at: vbmates/includes) and then change the field title in the language file (adminCP).
You can even remove some fields but in this case you must modify the templates. But it's easy if you're a bit familiar with templates.

If I say definetelly yes, I'll be liar. Till now I havn't deal with Adsense. What I can say is that if you can use Adsense in other templates of vB, yes you can do it here too.

You can change any value of any drop list modifying the corrsponding file in /vbmates/includes . You can even change the topic of the question, but in this case you need to change the title in languages.

I write this module for 3.5.5 and it works without problem on 3.6.x It helps that I dont use a lot of vb. But I can't guarantee that it should work with 3.5.3

First of all IM is planing for version 2.0 which means 1st quarter of 2007. Second it should be internal Flash IM one to one chat, but the user must be online at your site to use it and can chat only with other members. It's not a PC IM.
And yes, support and upgrades are lifetime free, but my lifetime :laugh:

You got the permission :nervous: Do you mean the burron "Add your Profile"? If yes, you can change it only with a photo editing program. But if you come again later here, I'll upload an empty button, but again you have to modify to add text.

It's stable 99.99%. I don't like to use my clients as beta testers. The module is ready a week ago, but I'm testing and testing it before bring it in the market. That's why even the lite version had no bugs as you can see in posts. I'm just planing to add and add more function depending of users's suggestions.

I did want to report a bug, and this is the worst one I've found which is a tribute to you on such a young project..

On Main vbmates.php page, you have two uncached templates:
Uncached templates: vbmates_categorybit (2)
Uncached templates: vbmates_categorysidebit (2)

Caching those will save 2 extra queries.

Also:
When viewing ALL MALES or ALL FEMALES like this:
vbmates.php?do=category&categoryid=1 (example)

There is one uncached template:
Uncached templates: vbmates_category (1)

Just wanted to make sure I reported these to get them fixed, but they're certainly not showstoppers..

Yes, all phrases are in the .xml file so you can change them as all other vb's phrases. Also the values of drop lists are easy modifying.
