I tried v1.8. The new features works but it increased the vertical space between the subforums in a column even with the thread and reply count off which it did not do in the previous version.
|
Wow, thanks for including my suggestion! However the upgrade isn't working properly. The only setting that works is the "Custom attributes - Enable" setting. Everything else is unresponsive. I can't change table rows, enable thread #s, etc. (edit) Never mind, it works. I just realized that the color you chose for the thread/replies is very very close to my background color. It was just hidden.
|
Installed the update, and it works very well, other then number of columns doesn't seem to work if you choose 2. If I choose 1, I get 1, if I choose 2, I get 1, and if I choose 3, I get 3. So something doesn't appear to be correct with the columns = 2.

ehm, ,After upgrading to 1.8 the show in columns thingy wont work :S
http://www.exsite.no/forum/ ( this should be two columns ) |
not working properly like it was before when I upgraded to 1.8: www.burnleyweb.com, www.gbpride.co.uk, www.itnovice.com and www.radioscanningworld.com
The forums don't split as they should, etc... |
How to fix it ?
|
v1.9 - Sep 06. 2006.
-Fixed bug (if you choose to arrange sub-forums into two columns it arranges it into one) -Added: When you mouseover count(s) it shows you what count(s) are for, depending on settings |
Nice this working ! Greate Job !
|
Thank you for the quick fix. I really appreciate it. Works perfect!
|
Excellent work, thanks for the quick fix.
|
to update just upload and select overwrite all right?
|
Hi Cybernetec, could you please add an option to this:
"-Added: Options to show thread-count or reply-count or both after sub-forum title" Its fine if a subforum is a real forum but if a subforum is a link the (0/0) looks really strange :D This should be off by default for link forums! |
Possible change width table with " width="$stylevar[outertablewidth]"" ?
|
nice. :-) going to add this one once i fix up my upgraded board.

And I found a Bug. If I enter some Forum in Exclude, this Subforums were not shown in Columns, but also the extra Style is used and the Thread/Post Count is also shown up. |
v2.0 - Sep 09. 2006.
-Thread/post counts are hidden automatically if sub-forum is link or contains "child forums" -Added option to turn on/off extra style and counts for excluded forums To upgrade: Import XML as product, allow overwrite. |
is their a way to change the Text color for thread/reply count for diferent style sheets, my forum uses various style sheets that's user selectable, and the one colour does not work with all styles.
Thanks Derek |
Template: cyb_cybsfa_counts
Change all instances of: color="$vboptions[cybsfa_tr_countcolor]" to what you want, or just remove it. |
Thanks for the update.

I know this says for forum home, but on forumdisplay it arranges them in subcolumns as well. However, on forumdisplay it bunches them more closely together even though there is room for the subforums to be listed more organized (like on forumhome)
How can I get the spacing on forumdisplay to be like the spacing on forumhome? *edit* I found out that on forumdisplay its contingent upon the length of the forum description. |

how can I change the text size of the thread/reply ? it comes out really big compared to subforums and forumd descriptoins text sizes....so looks weird. :/ |
nice works perfect
|
Comma bug??
With commas enabled, it looks like there is both a trailing and a leading space ( text_,_icon ). The initial space should not be there. Otherwise, VERY nice. |
v2.1 - Sep 14. 2006.
-Added: Option to change text size for thread/reply counts -Fixed bug (unneded space before commas) |
nice. :-)
thanks. |
I do not believe their is a hack on vb.org that is better supported then those done by you cybernetec. For this I personally thank you. You do great work and are very very accomodating <-- even if I can't spell it right :p

Hi Cybernetec,
Thanks for an excellent hack. This was by far the best hack I've installed out of the 73 I currently have! Keep up the good work! I do have one slight problem, though. If you look at my test forums, http://test2.prophecy.co.za, you'll see that there is this weird line break after the first subforum, if I have the settings set to use more than one column. On the settings set to use only one column, all the subforums has line breaks after them, which I think is also wrong, looking at your live demo. I also attach a screenshot of the line break in 3 column mode, as well as single column mode. |
Hi Cybernetec,
I've looked around and it seems like it's only IE that does this. Firefox is fine. I have tested it in Opera. Thanks Firestar |
Must have alphabetical please!!
|
Just wondering if the Custom Forum Status Hack would work with this one.
