v3.3 - Aug 23. 2006.
-Bug fixed in "Latest Posts" (blank "User" field when guest posted)
-Bug fixed in "Latest Posts" (if default browser font is not Arial then go-to-first-unread-post-arrow is shown as little blank square box)
-If your forum's index.php file was renamed for any reason, now you can enter new filename in ACP hack options to have working separate page

optrex 08-23-2006 08:58 AM

Nice one cyber thank you 3.3 looks to be working like a charm. Any feedback as to whether adding a "hot topics" and "most viewed" are likely to be incorporated?

Derekclarke 08-23-2006 11:21 AM

Thanks for the fast update, most apreciated.

Stoebi 08-23-2006 12:53 PM

Hi

@Cybernetec
Thank you for your fast and nice support :)

Regards, Stoebi

Dark_D 08-23-2006 11:54 PM

Very nice, I like having options!

Thanks.

Hengis 08-26-2006 09:39 AM

This is amazing, thank you.

Could anyone just tell me how I display the Welcome Message above this mod on my forum home page?

Thanks.

mac27 08-28-2006 04:39 PM

Is there anyway to put this in the left column hack?

zeroality 08-29-2006 04:41 AM

Found this from your post in TopXStats thread. Good job in advertising imo. ;)

Looks awesome, installing.

Hell? 08-29-2006 04:16 PM

Great job with this hack. Thanks for the release.

One problem, though, in my forum it's listing moderated threads for non-privileged users too. Hope you can help.

LordDB 08-29-2006 10:48 PM

Bravo to you, Cybernetec! :) This is the best and easiest hack yet to date...with so much stat info that one can use! Well done, m8, and thanks a million! :)

Br.

Valter 08-29-2006 11:16 PM

v3.4 - Aug 30. 2006.
-Bug fixed in "Latest Posts" (Moderated threads not hidden)
-Added "Product Version Checking"

Hell? 08-29-2006 11:19 PM

Thanks for the update.

You can remove items displayed to make it not stretch, or edit the table/td widths in the template.

td nowrap will also force the table to stretch rather than wrap the text so that can be removed as well but will result in text wrapping, which may not look good at all.

Isn't there some other way? I only have this problem in one style (so far), and I don't even know which template specifically is the problem. Forum is Here, skin is called Peachblossom. Every other skin looks fine. Ideas? I do NOT want to take anything out, since I've already done that to get it to fit everything else.

Rickie3 08-31-2006 04:38 AM

is it possiable to add to adminCP where you can display the hack on forums home eg: below navigation bar,Above Forums,Below Forums and Below "whats going on"??

G_Man 08-31-2006 09:00 PM

I had leave many of the stats off so it would fit... :(

Stacking them would work very nice I think.

I would also like to be able to have a place to excude certain UserGroups from the Top Poster/Top Reputation lists....

But that is all being picky.

Fanastic Hack. :D

serg472 08-31-2006 11:55 PM

It would be great to have an option to count top posters only in last XX days (or since the begining). Ranks of top posters of all times almost never change.

The same with most popular threads. Instead (or in addition to) top viewed threads it would be good to have most posted threads in XX days or since the begining.

zeroality 09-01-2006 08:48 AM

It would be great to know how to copy/paste the php code from this to an external php file then call the vBulletin global file and have it execute on a site.

I was able to do it with TopXStats back in 3.5.4 because it came as a separate php file and it was easy to copy/paste the code.

Not the case here. :(

I tried pasting the code from the 'main' plugin but that didn't work.

v3.5 - Aug 30. 2006.
-Small security bug fixed

Please upgrade asap.
To do so: Import XML, allow overwrite.

NeutralizeR, please report such stuff via PMs next time. Someone may misuse this.

furst 09-01-2006 08:10 PM

This is a great hack and when I first saw it I was really eager to replace Top X Stats with it. Unfortunately, I will not be using this hack for one reason:
- Unlike Top X Stats, I cannot insert these stats wherever I would like. I have several different styles and I don't even want it on each style. For the styles I do want it on, I want it in different places.

This seems like too big a thing to ask, but is there any chance that you could change this hack a bit so it is added to a style using $advancedstats or something like that instead of it being done automatically? I'd really like to switch from Top X to this, but right now I can't.

It's strange that moderator didn't said this to me. :surprised:

Whatever...

About moving Cyb Top Stats box:
People, please read product notes before asking questions.
Quote:

-To move Top Stats box somewhere else on forumhome: 1.-Disable plug-in "Cyb - Advanced Top Stats - SR" 2.-In FORUMHOME template add "$cybtopstats" where you wish to have stats shown.
This is the last time that I'm replying to similar questions.

Same problem.
Done the steps as wrote :
1) plug-in disable
2) template add "$cybtopstats in forumhome
3) enable plug-in
So there is a little bug i think.
Any idea for a solution.
It is a great hack anyway !!
Thanks for that

You can do that yourself, go to edit your templates, select Cybernetc's templates.

You will see cyb_topstats_newposts template and cyb_topstats_stats template.

Copy/paste the contents of cyb_topstats_newposts into the cyb_topstats_stats template and it should work (repeat, should).

You will need to edit the template and add table tags around it and set up the columns properly but yeah, should be easy to do.

you need to disable "Cyb - Advanced Top Stats - SR" and leave it disabled then add $cybtopstats in forumhome where you want it,this is NOT a bug!!!!

BoYagoob 09-03-2006 03:47 AM

Hi BoYagoob,

No, it's another plugin for vB 3.5 which is unsupported for a long time.

BoYagoob 09-03-2006 04:01 AM

thanks a million .. I will update it to your hack ..

I think the problem is in this hack:

The Finman 09-03-2006 08:51 AM

Anyone with this mod needs to update to the latest version (3.5) as some little snot nose 15 year old script kiddie from Turkey used the flaw to annoy our members for a little while.

SIGH...It's pretty sad when even calling them a "script kiddie" is overrating their abilities.

that wouldn't be talking about this hack would it?

im uninstalling for now, please answer and provide a possible fix if it is.

karlm 09-03-2006 04:15 PM

I don't know if the creator is aware, but there is a 'bad' hack being abused in this system. I've uninstalled, not because I don't like the hack but because when used it leaves it open to abuse by hackers for url redirection.

More information

I hadn't realised others had reported it too... :)

CyB, I really like your hacks - they're top-totty... please release a fix for we lesser-beings who don't know how to edit very well. :D

*bats eyelids hopefully*

Hell? 09-03-2006 04:41 PM

Karlm, are you using the updated version released the day before yesterday?

Valter 09-03-2006 05:33 PM

As I said, it is another hack, not this one.

It is hack called topXstats, which is unsupported btw.
This one is called Cyb - Advanced Forumhome Statistics.

Preety different name, huh? :p

ZombieAndy 09-03-2006 06:24 PM

K thanks cyb :)
