Ever think of writing a little tutorial ? I cant seem to find a nicely clear to understand complete skin/style tutorial. No one ever seems to release everything. footers, sidebars, etc. Just the headers. I seen on your site that your working on a new skin/style for your site. After you finish your new skin for your site, will you release a full gdk of retro blue for others to use to make there own skins/styles and to learn from ?
|
I am not releasing a gdk of the style. Releasing a style for free and offering even hands-on support is quite enough I think.
I am working on a tutorial for installing styles and making them work well with other plugins (portals specifically). |
fair enough, and very understandable.
i look forward to the tutorial. thanks for taking the time out to provide us with this skin and to work on a tutorial. cheers! |
This is a wonderful style...but I'll wait for the vB 3.6 Gold version...
Great job Bad Bunny...;) |
I still get can't log out issues
|
Congratz Bad Bunny, it's a neat style and I'm using it on my site altough modified to fit 980px fixed width.
I have a problem with two icons that doesn't come in the downloaded file and as far as I can see, they aren't either in your site. Those file are (for now) trashcan-small.gif and subscribed.gif do you know where might they be? |
They aren't part of the style. I don't know off-hand where trashcan-small is from, but subscrubed was removed from the templates.
|
The footer still isnt showing for me.. And im really confused, lol.
Also retro/misc/navbits_bg isnt showing, all the other misc images except that and the footer are showing.. Help? thx |
Wow I just reverted all the templates and this style is sick! The colors and buttons are great on the default vB templates. I suggest you guys try this!
From now on im doing this on all styles I like :D |

You are welcome =)
Let me know if you make any other styles ^_^ Btw, I'd like to order a dark style if you wanna make one ^_^!! edit: oh btw this style doesn't have a buttons/viewpost.gif image, for the new quote code, the image that links back to the quoted post |
I do believe I ended up using the same image as last post, just copying it and renaming it. Unfortunately I lost the master files for this style. Had some computer troubles. Anyway, I am working on a dark style for my band, and will release the style without template edits/
Black with shades of gray and maroon (with a light splash of yellow believe it or not). |
I've installed this one as a child of another, so I had to revert the navbar.
Besides that, it works like a charm. Thank you! |
I love this style, very nice!
I do have a Q? I am having troubles changing the portal button. I wanted to change it to forum. I downloaded the font Coolvetica. But, photoshop asks to change the image when opened. And of coarse it screws up the image. Do I need to make a new one or am I doing something wrong? Thanks, dreck |

Thanks, dreck |
First item of business - I love this style and have installed.
Second - I am having an alignment issue and it just seems to be in the thread display area. I have attached an image showcasing the issue and have red-dotted the parts that need to be aligned. Please let me know if you have a work-around for this. Thanks for your time. |
Looks like the showthread templates changed. Unfortunately I have stopped working on this style or supporting it. If you open the showthread template and copy it into your clipboard and then revert that template, it should fix it. Then you can look at the templates and add any change you wanted to keep still.
That is what I would have done if I were the one fixing it. Goodluck. |
I want to use this style for 3.6.7. Can someone help me get it up and running? Please contact me.
|
I just love this Style!
I'm using vB 3.6.10 and will try to upgrade to 3.7.x soon. I wish the original author would still work on this theme... :( One of the best I've ever seen for vBulletin! |
Hi everybody again! (is this a dead thread...? :erm: :( )
Does anyone knows if it could be possible to port this style to vB 3.7.x? What would be the coding that one would have to do to make it 3.7.x compatible? I'm not that familiar with coding, but it would be easy for me to follow some instructions like "find this" and "replace by that" inside the code files. Who could help me, please? Thank you all!   |
Does this work on 3.8? This is a style I really wanted.
