Nuguru 07-20-2006 10:23 PM

Hello Everyone,

For myself and for those that are fairly new to vbulletin and CMPS, could someone please elaborate on how the install is done on ibProArcade multiple CMPS-Module.

Maybe a descriptive step by step? (Best)

The 2 current lines of install instructions curently posted is not enough for the average person and could end up causing some people problems...possibly myself.

Thank You,

Nuguru :)

1) Upload the .module-File with vbAdvanced's AdminCP-Functions

goto adminCP>vBa CMPS>select from the drop down>"Download/upload Module">where it says, Please select a module from your computer to upload, click browse and find the Arcade module you downloaded to your PC,then find "Column" I selected "center" then simply click submit.

2) Import the .xml-File with vBulletin's Product-Manager
Still in adminCP scroll down to Plugin System from the dropdown select manage products, when that opens when that page opens scroll to the botom and select [Add/Import Product] now when the new window comes up find this "EITHER upload the XML file from your computer" click browse and search for the "product-ibProArcade_CMPS" then click import and your done

Thanks for the Quick Response, worked perfectly. Love the add-on!

Nuguru :)

the installation is not difficult. I did the two steps.

But the module is not showing... Why? :( It is active, in the center.

hammondfra 07-22-2006 01:17 AM

can this mod be fitted for the garage mod, having a random vehicle thumbnail come up would be nice for my portal....

syrus.xl 07-22-2006 07:03 PM

Nice module/block..

I have one quibble though, it was noticed by one of my members earlier today.

If a member achieves a highscore in the arcade the time submitted with the score is correct. However, when you view the same score, but via this CMPS module the actual server time is shown - which in my case is 6 hours behind.

LadyHoney 08-07-2006 03:33 PM

worked awesome for me... clicks install .. thanks!!

I've got this version running on vCMPS 2.2 and using vBulletin 3.6 - had no problems with it, even after an upgrade from vBulletin 3.5.4.

Carmen27 09-14-2006 07:37 PM

I get this erroe when I upload the Module in the CMPS panel..

Database error in vBulletin 3.6.1:

Invalid SQL:

Fistypoos 09-27-2006 02:14 PM

Great addons Zero, thanks!

Is there any way to edit it so you can have the Highscore Champions and the random games boxes side by side instead of above and below one another? It takes up alot of horizontal space in the centre column of my homepage and I want to reduce the height of the module.

Draygonia 10-11-2006 11:34 PM

I imported the product and uploaded the module, yet it refuses to show! Is there a reason for this?

Vbulletin: 3.6.2

Got the same problem.. Any solution?

Greek Wizard 10-30-2006 06:38 AM

I got this module to work, however it has 90+ errors that break the 100% Valid HTML Transitional status of my portal/forums.

I might look into trying to fix them all, but just curious if possibly an updated one is out there anywere that someone might have already done.

Other than that it's great, butI think I will hold off until I can fix it.

HeLLCiTo 10-30-2006 03:11 PM

someone made a template with less options for put in a colum, it is to wide for my cmd portal.

DementedMindz 11-12-2006 02:47 AM

test your site here and see how many errors you get http://validator.w3.org/

StuntFactoryX 11-17-2006 05:19 PM

thats a cool tool... i had like 20.. installed this on my test site and it went off the charts. but this does work on 3.6.3.

thanks for the link.. handy thing for future. :)

DementedMindz 11-18-2006 06:24 PM

no problem i just figured since he was fixing the errors on the arcade why keep the errors on the vbadvanced module too.

Greek Wizard 11-23-2006 12:15 PM

I am working on both ipProArcade v3Arcade skin and this CMPS module, trying to get them both 100% XHTML

I am down to 14 errors on the CMPS module (some are doubles) and maybe half a dozen (actually 54, but most are repeated on each game listed, which is 40) on the v3Aracde Skin

I have not had time to do any work on them for two weeks, but I would love a hand if anyone has a better idea about this stuff than me.

Dr.Viggy 11-27-2006 01:04 AM

I am using VB 3.6.3 and the arcade works fine. so does VBA. When I add this in i have problems. Everytime a user submits their score, it goes right back to the portal page. I'm using it on a nother site with 3.5.4 with no problems. Can anyone think of anything offhand? Let me know if you need more details.

DementedMindz 11-27-2006 01:05 AM

this is the wrong thread for that but you forgot to add the code to your portal php file.

i didn't know if support for the module went in the regular ibproarcade support forums.

i don't recall adding code the last time. and it wasn't in the instructions for this, that i saw. can you give me details?

the problem your having is not cause by the module read the arcade install folder for what ever portal page you use for the code.
