Doesn't Apple discontinue every single iPod after three months of it being in the market anyways?

i'm looking to get an ipod touch.... is the 2nd gen really different than the 1st gen in terms of firmware , capabilities etc?

ive got the iphone 16 gig

pretty neat and cant really fault it except for the sound.Needs to be higher.

Ive just been giving out some chromatics for work (radio station)
Im currently using one now and its replacing my 60gb video.. for sure.

Some people (eg me :P) just buy the one so they can have an MP3 player.

I agree that Apple attracts a lot of sheepish fanboys though. I'm happy with my iPod but I don't like Apple as a company.

My dad recently bought an iPod Touch, and I must say, I'm sold on it.

I don't like iPod's, I can't control the turn wheel thing very well, but the Touch is a -very- nice piece of equipment.

My kid wants an iPod Touch for Christmas. I've got a 20GB U2 one (black and white, no video), my oldest has a Nano (color with video), and my hubby has an 80GB classic (new). I *love* iPods of all flavors!

I don't really want to spend mega dollars on a phone for video-- I have a cell phone already--

is it really worth the extra money to buy an IPod or are the alternatives as good in regards to video quality and the types of video you can watch???

Can you use an IPOd as a storage drive????

Are you absolutely tied to ITunes or can you download videos from other directories etc.... Those two are deal breakers for me....

What is that Chromatic and can you give one to me?? lol I will call your radio station!lol I never heard of a chromatic.. who makes it? How much does it cost?
