Uninstall the old product, download the mod in the release post, and install anew. This mod tries to recognize when there are multiple side groups with the same displayorder number, but if not just uninstall and reinstall.

No errors or anything though. What's wrong?

Ummm, my problem still hasn't been solved...

After refreshing your ACP index page, the display groups bit isn't there? Do you have any other cpnav_namehere.xml file in your /forum/includes/xml directory besides cpnav_vbulletin.xml?

Yep, I do. I take it that this hack is incompatible with other cpnav files?

calorie 01-28-2006 05:17 PM

It should work with other cpnav files, unless perhaps one of those cpnav files sets the navgroup display order to zero, as this mod uses zero for its group.

Hmm, I'll look into that then. Thanks for the help :)

EDIT: I removed all navs from the above the vBOptions one, and it still won't show up. I even uninstalled and re-imported it. Any ideas?

Go to vB ACP -> Usergroups -> Administrator Permissions -> and [Edit Permissions] for your user name. Are all the radio buttons set to yes?

Yep, they're all set to yes. I even deleted all other cpnav files from the xml folder, just to make sure they werent the cause.

Are you importing this mod as a product (vB ACP -> Plugin System -> Manage Products -> [Add/Import Product]) or as a plugin (vB -> Plugin System -> Download / Upload Plugins)? It need to be as a product import.

What about other mods? For example, Enhanced ACP Nav and this mod do not play well together. Do any of your other mods use the admin_global or admin_index_navigation hook, or modify the $navigation variable?

Yes, I import it as a product. I dont have any other enhanced navigation hacks. I'll try disabling everything that uses the hooks to see if it works.

GrendelKhan{TSU 02-12-2006 12:10 AM

hmmm..... not working for me. :( installed it but nothing appears in acp (no display order). yes, I refreshed. even logged in and out.

I have lots of hacks installed....is there anything to look for that may cause a conflict. or trigger that would cause it to not display?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

great and practical hack.. and looking forward to using it. :D

Same here! The Display Order option doesn't show up in my ACP.

Do we need a cpnav_displayorder.xml file or something?

Look at the convo I had with calorie a few posts before yours, that may answer the question.

Though, it STILL doesnt work for me =/

I've tried everything, including disabling all hacks, and deleting all other cpnav files, and it still wont appear.

same problem as Megareus Rex only I won't try deleting my plugins.
As some of them are under the vBulletin category.

Plugin System Adjustments admin_global
Remove Manage Products from Nav admin_index_navigation
Unalterable Admins Can Edit Themselves (excluding their password) admin_global
