Limiting width for images would seem like it would require the use of a div or something similar that would scroll anything bigger. Perhaps I am wrong.

cause ppl may think you were talking about limiting the whole sig size. It was a hack b4. Sigs aren't just for images.

nah, I did a similar hack for 3.0x. just gotta get the image info and resize it or error it out.

I could ... but I don't need that as I don't allow Images in Sigs anyway (Sigs are Text, max 4 Lines 80 Characters each according to Usenet Netiquette :))

Breaking this down to Usergroup Level would be possible (although a change in how BBCodes are handled would be necessary).
But the same as I already answered to boofo also applies here: I don't need that :)

I would use that feature to limit image sizes as well, I could add it if Kirby gives the ok.
