If you install this hack, be even more sure than usual to log out when you're using a public computer.

I'm not going to install it. Thanks for the tip though. And I never log into the admincp from any other computer then my own.

Hey nice hack...
What's the point in !is_array($vbulletin->userinfo) ??? Thanks.

Andreas 10-06-2005 12:03 AM

Well, fetch_userinfo() might be called several times from within ACP.
This check makes sure the query will only be executed if this call is the initial call to get the userinfo for the viewing user :)
But I guess just !$vbulletin->userinfo might work as well and cause less overhead.

Is there a way to have a setting or a link to turn this on and off?

Nullifi3d 10-06-2005 02:06 AM

Does anyone have an answer to my question a few posts above? I think it was missed.

Boofo 10-06-2005 02:09 AM

It should be fine as long as you make sure to log out after each session with your site.

akanevsky 10-10-2005 10:02 PM

Why don't you post this as a hack? :) That way I could click install :)

Andreas 10-10-2005 10:04 PM

Becasue I don't want anybody who does not really know what he is doing to install this.
And if I release it as a Hack chances for this to heppen would be higher ;)
