You have to remember we all volunteer our time to create hacks. We don't get paid to do this, we don't work for Jelsoft, we simply release hacks because we know that not only does our work benefit us, but it benefits many others as well.

You should be more appreciated of our hard work.

/me is volunteer
/me is also not very into 3.5
/me is to suggest that versions that are not officials have no need to have official requests forums but suggestions only!
/me is pleased to be alive!

I don't even see the 3.5 forum(s) as I have it collapsed :surprised:

... waiting for 3.5 to go GOLD before anything :ermm:

While I respect people's decisions not to upgrade til Gold, I think that a "bury your head in the sand" attitude when it comes to looking at hacks etc for 3.5 is silly - It's not going to go away just because you don't want to look at it - Why not setup a testboard and try hacks out, and try releasing your own as well - 3.5 is different to 3.0, and the sooner you learn about it the sooner you can upgrade and have most if not all of the features you want on it ;)

The one bad thing about coding for 3.5 is that I no longer want to touch 3.0.x with a 10-foot pole :D

true, true! I am doing just that right now and creating a custom style for a client who wants to be ready for Gold. I think there will be a large demand for styles as well as hacks when this puppy is birthed!

After installing 3 Plugins / Products for vb 3.5 you may not see me dealing with 3.0.x hacks ever again. Although I am most greatful for all the hackers and coders who have contributed great additions.

3.5 Here I Come...and in messing with 3.5, I will learn and maybe even release a hackf or it real soon.

i think most of you misunderstood what i was getting at, i wasn't trying to say you coders aren't doing enough, i'm just trying to say try point people into the right direction, especially for those of us that dont code. just a simple, "no that hack hasn't been made but i herd ... is working on it" or a "yeah you can find it here"... that's mostly what i can do... i really believe you hackers are doing more then you should be, which is what makes vbulletin so much more special then anything else out there.
