Not all hacks are plugins. It's your choice whether to use code mods or not though.

There is no way to eliminate all hacks, and we haven't been sold any bridges. The plugins are a tremendous help in upgrades and are a wonderful time-saver.

I have confidence in the plugin system, and I always try and use the plugins that do not require modification of vB Files.

And as a random though I contribute this:

Amy...from the bottom of my heart I want to thank you for being the voice of reason among all these hormone laden young boys.

It's nice to have an adult response from once in a while.
