There is an integrated vBulletin feature called "Edit User Permissions". Which can turn the access on/off for spec. forums...

the thread is looking for limited banning abilities for moderators who are mods in a specific forum/subforum (not the whole board). From what I can see moderators do not have access to the permission masks and that wouldn't be as ideal as a limited ban hack.

so how can we get this hack made or ported since it already existed? im sure alot of people can use this since there are alot of mods with different point of views on alot of sites.

I've made a hack for allowing Mods to edit Access masks - I'm just altering it slightly to dis-allow altering access masks of users who are staff :)

with the access masks would they be able to disable someone's access to a forum for X amount of time and have the board automatically restore their access when X time is up?

and would it stop a moderator of one forum/subforum enabling/changing access of users for other forums/subforums?
