slim cutty 07-19-2005 05:39 AM

can this be done to put banners in the right side of the category also?

How can I change the collapse image into a banner? This has been done on other sites I just can't seem to do it myself. The site I'm referring to has different images where the collaps .gif is... can anyone help me on this?

thanks

I believe there is a hack for adding images in the category slim.

Shibby2, this is the solution you want. It doesn't require any hacking and is just simple html. The only thing you'll have to do is make the images and put them in a certain path.

Yes, but won't it show up in places I don't want it to? Like the breadcrumbs?

Well I just tried it like that to see what would happen, and it looks good, except that it jsut shows a broken image in the Admin panel, and shows a blank space in the 'forum jump' drop down box. Other than thta, it looks good. :(

Hmm...I'm trying to remember because I did this on the LG Electronics knowledgebase forum. We had little pictures of each of the cell phone by the category name (model number). I believe that it did show up in the breadcrumb. I never had the forum jump go to specific models, so I never knew what it did there.

There's got to be a hack for this somewhere. I know I've seen sites doing exactly what you want. :(
