Upload database_conflicts.php to your vB2 folder and run it. If it all checks out, you should be able to upgrade to 3.0.x through its upgrade script. 3.5.0 has more database changes, but I don't think they cause any major conflict. Either way, backup first and if possible, upgrade a test forum first.
