Situation: I am bored of Life, therefor I decide to travel back in Time to kill my Parents, so I won't be alive now (which is the future for Time X to which I went back).
But if I am not alive now, how would I then be able to travel back to kill my Parents?
By changing the Past, I open a totally different timeline/reality - that's why I said it's not possible within one Universe. If there are parallel Universes that share the same space it might be possible.

You simply have to ignore the temporal issues associated with such an event, and it all works out :)

There are no hooks because in the future we write the code using our brain and transfer via the tsb cord that replaces the bsb cord that replaced the usb.... Dont even ask what happens when it crashes!

Oh and we dont use wireless because in future they ban wireless to get rid of people with cell phones in movie theaters...

In the future we figure out that reality is just a word created to explain what is happening currently and doesnt actually represent the levels of our current time and space.

It all depends on which is possible, even without paralelle deminisions, you've basicly undone a part of history, and whipe yourself out. You were alive to kill him but after he died you are no longer possible, and snuffed out. But, its really best not to wrap your head around such things, it causes massive pain :D

Kirby, everyone seems to agree that time travel into the future is quite possible because of the "arrow of time" concept. This is an integral part of the general theory of relativity. However, time travel into the past is another issue. Anything is possible, but it's much less probable that time travel into the past could be accomplished.

We travel into the future every day. When you travel in a plane time passes a bit faster for you than when you travel around on the surface of the earth. This has been proven with atomic clocks on board aircraft and spacecraft.

There's another interesting thing about simply viewing future events which again people think is possible.
