ummm Tony it has been you and one other person that has said this lol Not like 10 people have come on here and said man this board stinks :D And I have 110 members and every day I have a member that says the board is looking great. So I think someone that visits every day will always take the cake before you do. Not trying to be a jerk, but really unless you come to my site and start to post and be a member of the forum I will listen but wont do much beyond that :)

I did not comment because I ad nothing nice to say, and I did not want to hurt your feelings. Thre truth is this: If a person likes a product or service you have rendered, there is a good chance they will say so. A far greater percentage of people will NOT say anything to you should they not like it. They will just move on.

Resaurants are that way. Most unhappy customers just don't come back. A website visitor who is unpleased is not very likely to sign up and try to give you cunstructive criticism so he can eventually like your site.
The bonus of a forum like this is so that you can ask people who are NOT members of your site to swing by like the average web browser and let ya know what they thought.


So here you go. I think that little table on forumhome that has the " Forum Posts Threads Last Post "...that really needs to go. It is out of place and looks like junk. The logo is a nice idea, but it looks like it was drawn kind of sloppy. Those big blocks of black near the bottom are very unattractive.

Those things jump out at me. The colors are ok, but nothing to jump up and down about nor freak out. Take it or leave it. Again, I'm not trying to be rude. You show off a link in a forum like this, and you will get people's opinions. You don't want it, then go back to your forum and ask your members what they think.

First off thanks for the comments. This area is for showing off modified boards so I showed it off. The members that are there like the board. Could there be improvements yeah with a skin that is specially made for the site. But the color scheme goes with what we want. The blocks on the bottom are that way because it is easier for the leagues that we host to just click on it there instead of scrolling down 20 more inches to see your league. Plus it hides your posts as well. Keeps them in a semi private area.

One thing I'd suggest : add valign to them so the buttons are in the middle of the cell for FORUMHOME (displaybits)

also I am looking into ways to hide the forums, but havent got a clue how. I would like it to where people can click on the Leagues link and that would take them to the forums. Instead of being able to view them on the index page.

Yeah, that sounds like it would be pretty cool.

I was told by the vb dev team that it would require a hack. Lets hope someone will hack a feature like that. :D
