Nope, I use GoDaddy... it only has a box to enter the ns.viperhost.com and stuff, no IP assignments. The ns.blah was already correct, so I just left it.

However, to change a current domain's DNS to ViperHost for an add-on domain, I had to give my other host the IPs.

Same here, everything running smoothly. a little slow last night but it might have been my connection.

Do all the plans sit on the same box?, im just wondering as im on reseller 2 and i hear most do not use the reseller plans.

The hosting plans are spread on the 2 main servers, 1 being the main shared, the other being a main reseller box. Many people use the reseller plans, but more so use them for personal websites because the bandwidth is greater, while others use them for profit; all-in-all, it depends on what the need for them is.

Is a reseller a bit like a semi-dedicated server?

Also, I use Viperhost and I run a vBulletin on my site. It runs really fast, there's hardly been any downtime except for when the server move took place. I'm very happy with viperhost, and when my site gets really popular, I will no doubt get a dedicated server with them (if that's possible of course)

To see my vB in action click the http:// button below any of my posts. :)

Resellers are just that, they basically allow you to utilize your own "Admin" control panel where *you* can add/remove/delete/edit domains/accounts at your discretion. You decide the amount of space they get as well as the amount of bandwidth; as well as other such resources.

Semi-Dedicated usually provide root access, whereas resellers do not. Semi-Dedicated is usually for those that need the power of a dedicated, although cannot afford a $200/month+ server on their own (we do not yet offer semi-dedicated).

I do have plans to offer dedicated servers soon enough, just need to get some things cleared up before we move any further :).

The servers are located in 151 Front Street's data center, for more information you can visit their website, it will tell you all about them :).

Edit: If you need a dedicated, please contact me ASAP and I will see what I can get for you :).
