I found your forum -- macfora.com -- you should reference it, :^)

Mozilla, not Netscape. Even though I believe they use the same rendering engine. Mozilla, version 1.01 is the latest stable version. If you're up to it, they have nightly builds you can install and try. I only use IE to check my site. I use Mozilla full time. I do use Entourage as my mail client, Word, Excel as well.

As far as you images displaying, you need to upload your style images to a directory inside your forums directory, call it whatever you like. Then, go to styles in the vB admin cp and set your image path.

When downloading zip files, I use Mozilla. I use Stuffif Expander to unzip.

I second, I second

We had a special party at one of universities and there are nearly 2000 people there. We collect $$ thur funding and more so we can buy near 200 IMac and all we do is hang all of 200 on the steel line then use the bat, boxing gloves, urine, football, many more at 200 Mac with 15 different position of DV to capture the event.

After everything else (nearly 2 hours) we cut some unnecessary footage and merge all of these tapes in one tape and send it to Steve (The big Mac Idiot) heheh. That was a blast time. That was during after three days conver to PC so I enjoy my time at there.

Fun, fun, fun XD

LOL! I wish I was there to see that;)

Anyway, back on topic - Mac's suck:)

Mac's are graphics computers, that is about all they are good for IMO. The Mac .vs. PC war has been going on for a long time, although I honestly don't see why they are so expensive; I certainly don't feel the hardware is worth half of the cost, so that basically leaves those cases with the Apple on them.

In short, if you have money to burn and don't want to pry your computer open to upgrade, buy a Mac or "Power Mac". If you don't have $2,000-$5,000 to spend on something that will be obsolete in 1 year, then buy or build your own PC.

How boring.....us vs. them. I never could understand the need to defend ones choice of a particular brand of computer or OS. Or for that matter, to be critical of what other use. Very childish.

SaintDog 11-12-2002 02:43 PM

I personally don't have anything against them (or those that use them), Smoothie (Mac's that is), although I do feel they are very overpriced and that if you were to take the money spent on one of the Power G4's (I believe that is what they are called, please correct me if I am wrong), you would be able to build a computer that would run much better and out-perform the G4 by a long shot.

I do give them credit for the graphics though, but other from that, I cannot say much else (yes, I have used a G4 before so my opinion is based on personal experience, not just on what others say).

Smoothie 11-12-2002 07:41 PM

I have a G4, and iBook at home. I run PC's at work. Both do what they are meant to do. The PC's are cheaper, no doubt. But, that's because you can build a PC, you can't build your own Mac. Apple has both the OS and the hardware.
