I say it how it is. If you have any disgareement go re-write the submission rules. Not my problem.

Sorry about that, I was kiddin. You were right, and then again, im the git:)

Anyway, enough spam. I still cant get the default to be black, Although I havent tried this on my board yet(will do now) You could put;
Code:

<font color="#{whatevercolouryouwant}">
right before
Code:

<font color="#$post[field*]">$post[username]</font>
EDIT: I have tried this and it has failed.:( I didnt think it wold work in the first place
I suppose that could over write the profile field until a user changes the colour.

Just a though, Ill go try it out:)

Anyone else have any idea's

If you think thats spam, you've seen worse.

It doesn't work because it needs to be inside the font tag of those codes. Otherwise it won't overwrite the other font tags.

assassingod 09-05-2002 02:38 PM

I know. Ill try what you said now.

How do I allow only certain groups to change their color?

Or if I can not do that how do I make my Mods and Admins Name a different color?

Larry

Don't think thats possible via a Template modification.

assassingod 09-07-2002 12:36 AM

Best I can think of is editing thier name manuelly, which I dont think works. Methinks Tony is right, try vB.org
