Wow, just now checked, I have not been to the thread in a little bit (partially because of my connection). There is still a good deal of time left; it is still anyones game :).

I actually think posting about BBotM on a board that's in the running is against the rules... or at least frowned upon.

You can ask people not to vote, but you know they will.

It is not disallowed and I am by no means forcing or asking them to vote in anyway, or to even click the URL. Whether they vote or not is up to them, mentioning that vBT is in the run has done no harm.

If it makes you happy plattopus I had reasons for voting for vBT and I posted them on the thread, go and read them if you like.

I'm not telling anyone whether or not they should vote, but the fact that there is a link to the poll on a site that is in the running is frowned upon.

Most people that visit vBT will be biased towards it in the poll, so whether or not you tell/ask them to vote, they most likely will.

Most does not account for all in the poll, I am sure some people here voted for another board, other than vBT.

I'm sure of that too, but I wanted to make sure you were aware that people generally don't post about their BBotM nomination on the board that's nominated.

BTW - You'll notice that I voted for vBT in the poll, so it's not like I'm trying to get people not to vote for you. :)

Well for the record I voted because I think this board deserves it. Not because everyone else wants to or for any other reason.
