This thread reminds me how old I am.

If its any consolation, my ex who I am friends with and still kind of seeing called me 42 times (not close to her existing record of 132 times).

Then when I finally do speak with her, she doesn't understand why I never want to talk -- well, gee, could it be the 41 phone calls before this and the three times I said goodbye because I had things to do which you plainly didn't seem to understand or grasp?

And yes - I've done that already... But luckily I don't think she heard me that clearly... I know her best mates did though, so I'm sure they filled in the blanks... Good news is we are still talking (better now :D) but whether she knows or not, she obviously isn't gonna kill me over it :p
