Hrm - We need some kind of spam filtering system for our PMs :p

If a PM contains a certain keyword and is not from someone on your buddy list, it gets filtered to a spam folder :p

already installed here: every pm by Hellsatan will be sent to the spam folder ^^

good to know and thanks for clearing that up

here was my thing...
im not talking hack authors....they can turn off pms, ignore them whatever but...

if your a customer of a company and you pm an employee of that company, the right thing to do is to respond in a prompt and proffesional manner

that's just business/public relations 101

unfortunetly most internet companies seem to miss that point
im not talking about jelsoft specifically
im talking about past experiences with this and that company, once or twice with jelsoft only

the difference is, if you're an internet company - you dont have to look that customer in the eye....that leads to lesser customer service because its easier to respond any way you like from a hidden position

if you are a brick and mortar company, chances increase that you will be greeted with a smile and a lot of a-kissing :)
don't get me wrong, theres zillions of brick and mortar companies that have horrible customer service
when i run into one, i stop doing business with them and find one that's more attentive to keeping it's customers happy

No offence intended, but Customer Service standards are entirely subject to the customer - I find Jelsoft's Customer Service brilliant, but others may not...

I have a job in Retail and you always get the odd customer that is never satisfied, and a test of whether you have your Customer Service up to scratch is if you can get them to walk away feeling a little less dissapointed that they couldn't get what they want...

No matter how much Positive feedback you get on your Customer service someone will always have something negative to say, and the negative carries more weight than the positive as always :ermm:

Mind you, even though vB.org staff are not paid Jelsoft employees, we are still representatives of Jelsoft, and you as members and customers should expect and deserve a certain level of support and service from us. :) So we try our best to provide this.
