Few weeks ago i noticed peopel couldnt vote. So i tryed it myself. Made a manual thread and i couldnt vote as it automatically told me the thread was closed. Then Geek installed a hack for me as it wasnt workintg and it was working again but linking now to old forum topics with the poll youve voted on (soi youd get a random topic below your poll once youd voted).

So i decided id ask for some help. By time i did the error had come back. And now once again all polls appeared closed. Recently i have merged two forums together into one. However the poll system was working fine. I have used the form ever since it came out

Since install iv einstalled the geeks article and gallery adodn hacks. As well as help desk and arcade. However the help desk has been uninstalled and for a test i have uploaded all original files (to no success ) As i said its odd as without anything being touched (bar TheGeek editing files for his hack) it began working and came back

As for the options im not sure. They just seem to have disapeared.

Try going into phpMyAdmin, and look in the poll table.

What is the default value for "Active"?

If thats 0, set it to 1, and it should work :)

Ok, you go into phpMyAdmin, and open the table "Poll" (do NOT browse it, we do not want to see what is stored in the table, we want to see the structure!).

Now, there should be a row which says:
Where X is either 0 or 1.
What is that number?

It says 1
