I wouldn't consider it retarded.Thestatement about having every single hack installed is bogus, butquoting the price of a forum isn't retarded at al. I know ofsomepeople that buy forums and then try to generate revenue off ofthem. Ifsomeone offered me the right price (a pretty penny) I wouldsell mine.

EDIT: Damn WYSIWYG bug...

i no its not realy possible but interested in your views

Who cares what's installed? Stuff like user activity levels is more interesting.

My site has technically no PHP code modifications installed and it is worth thousands. A site that has a million code modifications installed (a very bad idea) could be nearly worthless because the vast majority of them do absolutely nothing to help the community (who cares what the weather is or the day's top posters?).

Agree, I'd rather have a big board with no hacks installed. And if I have a board with good traffic I won't care for hacks.

I wont be interested in selected a fully modded vbulletin with each and every hack installed :).. Not all hacks are required by every board..

Cannot determine a pricing based on the details given.

i was working based on the idea that you were going to start a forum from scratch ala just like most people buying vB for the first time.

I don't know but from what i hear, to many hacks decrease the board's optimization and performance. If you have every hack installed i can just imagine how many queries you have and how slow the site is. I wouldnt even want to buy it in the first place.

That depends.. does it come with a trained monkey in a box who will upgrade to the latest vBulletin as it's released, as well as re-apply every hack previously installed and any new hacks since the initial install?

If so.. screw the forum, how much for the monkey? :p
