Link14716, i gather your the coder ... i saw some other posts about this version and the have seemed to have installed it, maybe we are doing something wrong ?

There is only a small code is add inthe init.php

here it is

Find:

Replace With:

So i dont think there is anything wrong with the init.php but it seem thi smod dose not work with the vb305

hmmm, strange, i followed the file edits again and i found that most of the templates were gone so i re-done the install and choose the templates only and it worked.

That must be it. The store header template was modified, so it wasn't deleted on upgrade. Yes, since the installer puts the templates in the master style, unfortunately vB will delete it on an upgrade. I wish there was a custom master style so I could avoid that, but there isn't.

Anyone having this problem should run the installer and click the link to re-install the templates.

i have it a new installing dou mean that we should re run the installer again .. and install all templates ? bcz i think they are lready install ..

please explain more if u can ..

If you just did a fresh install on 3.0.6, then that is not your problem. Check over your includes/init.php and global.php edits, as well as if you are in a custom usergroup.

i check the init.php and global.php 10 times already from yastarday .. i have re edit 10 and check to make sure if there is anything wrong .. but i still get this msg

i try with the Admin.. And Members.. MODS... i dontthink Admins is custom groups

Please help with this letme fix this ..?
