Actually, it didn't work. It shows nothing sometimes, even though there's 20 new posts up, other times it does. It also displays with the quick links not working as well. :(

Works perfectly for me. You may have a conflict somewhere else.

Just a link...

What would be a possible conflict? I didn't add a lot of hacks, just what I really needed. If it's a admin setting for options though, I can understand that, insanely complex as it is.
