If properly tuned that site should be able to hold at least 200 concurrent connections.

That's crazy. I've seen sites with 1000 concurrent connections, how much do you think they pay for hosting a month?

I know they are also on a PIV 2.8 from SM, sorry we are on the 2.8 aswell, again it's not struggling with load...Ram being the key on vb3 over raw CPU.

One thing: unless you have your own DNS server, don't go with theplanet as they are blacklisted for SPAM: their shared servers are not monitored well enough for spammers...

blacklisted for spam? where, vBulletins servers are not black listed, neither are mine, servermatrix and theplanet are the same place, (vBulletins server sits a few rows away from mine)
