So I take it the conclusion is you cannot see who has installed your hacks. Seems a bit of an oversight to me :(

As we already said, it won't be displayed to the public who has installed a hack or not.
so it would be an author only feature.

The author can already see who has installed a hack when the person replies to the thread.
If a person replies to the thread, it means, that he also doesn'thave a problem when someone knows he has that hack installed.

But some people don't want other users to know which hacks they have installed,and so we will leave it the way it is now.

I was assuming that the author of this thread only wanted to see the users who installed his hack also?

I thought I made it pretty plain (twice) that I wasn't asking for it to be displayed to the public, I asked how *I* the author, could see who had installed *my* hack(s). I don't care about other peoples.

Jesus, its very simple. The Author of the hack can see who installed only if they post in the thread you started. vb.org will not show a list of who installed due to sercury reasons. And thats the way it will stay. So people will just have to live with it.

I don't see a problem in showing modification authors who installed their modifications in a list though?

Dean C does have a point ... for secrity reasons .. someone wouldn't hit the Install button if they didn't want people 2 know they insatlled it ... but hey who am I? I am just lil old me hehe
