:(:(

Wouldn't something like this entail a thread multi-moderation modification? You know, something that allows you to close a thread and marked it [Resolved]?

Jorim 09-12-2005 05:41 PM

Almost, that is a function for only the moderators. It's better that the thread poster can click "resolved" himself! And closing it isn't good because there is a possibility that an other answer is better...

I know there has to be a hack like this because I know of vB forums that use it. Doesn't anybody know where we can find it? :ermm:

A friend of my made it.. I can ask if he wants to make it public.. (I can't guarantee anything)

Wow that would be REALLY great if he would share that with us. Thank you for asking him :)

Please help us get it! - This was a great hack and I am very sorry to see that no one is even considering making one for 3.5.x.

Here is what I did on my site.

Aside from the visual change, I changed the usergroup permissions for that forum to allow users to open/close their own threads.

I dislike the current thread prefixes hack, and any custom solutions take too much of my time right now, so I went for the best results with the least effort. So far I'm happy with it.

Let me know if you guys are interested.
