This would be pretty complicated keeping things like # views/replies and last post info in mind.
However, if you just want the thread to appear in more then one forum this should be doable.

Edit: Got this working in vB 3.5 - Threads appears in multiple Forums.
However, it does not add to view/replies or last post info of the additional forums yet (no new post indicator, etc.)
This involves more work.

I´m currently messing around with AndrewD´s great hack that uses multiple categories for the links and files database. So at least, i am able refer to threads.

No updates on this?
What about your hack, Kirby?

I lost the Code ... due to fatal User failure ;)
When I got time i'll implement it again.

Would be nice if you get the code again.
Doesn't need to be perfect :)

Most well Organized Forums could use this feature very well.

I am surprised that there is no hack yet for such an important useful feature.

I am also surprised that it's isn't implemented in VB 3.5.

Did this ever happen? I'd love for people to be able to post a question in all relevant forums to get maximum input. We tend to have a lot of people who only post on one "side" of the forum or the other, but some questions are relevant to both "sides".

Same question as above ^

ViViD 08-11-2008 06:26 PM

I also need this brilliant feature .
