the downloads i host are often well above what php would allow for uploading as an attachment.. ranging from a few KB to half a GB.. gotta love gaming..

That is quite rare though. Anyway you can change php.ini and make it allow more than the normal 2M.

yes i understand all of that.. however, i don't let just anyone upload something to my server.. i generally use the server itself to pull down any large files.. wget is a wonderful thing..

this should be all automated, so i can have an "upload team" or i can allow all users besides guests to upload files but force files to be accepted or denied before letting them be downloaded

ONE SUGGESTION:

It would be cool if it would take one random file/screenshot and provide a way to designate it "File of the Day" so that the Screen shot will show up and link to the file.....

Just a thought.

it already has a feature like that, only it has the "screenshot of the moment" that changes every page-refresh

i still think im only 30% done, because the more I do, the more i realize i should do... but just so you know admin section = completed, and you can now view both categories and individual categories

so far you cant view files or add them, and you cant really manage the files in any method other than the sql, so i will have to do something for that
