Like Boofo I started out with a 300 baud modem. Of course that was before eb-browsers and everything was text-based. There was something neat about watching the letters being displayed on the screen one at a time. :D

I set this up about 6 months ago and it was popular for a while. It definately uses alot of page views.

That was a time when even color codes made things go slower. And forget about ANY kind of graphics at that speed. ;)

It was almost like watching a manual typewriter in action. ;)

Ok, I got it up and running on my site if anyone is interested in trying it out. Just click on the create a character link on the left and you will be ready to go.

These kinds of games will never lose their flare. They take a lot more thinking and skill than the shoot-em-ups that are big today. These are classics! ;)

No way, I love these games, bandwidth requirements are right up my alley ;)

lol I mean. All you do is click on a choice and continue. Really. I guess its when you were born and such. Different kinds of likes and dislikes..

In the early days of 2400 and 9600 Baud, these were the only kinds of games that could run half-way decent. ;)
