I haven't even been able to find a suitable script for purchase! If anyone knows of one please PM me a link. I've found many for cam streaming designed for "shows" or video conferencing but not end user cam to cam (sorta like Yahoo or MSN messengers).

If anyone finds it please let me know...I'd be willing to pay for it... hmm... maybe we could get together and have someone write it for us at cost?

Not streaming. Updates every 3 minutes or so.

i can't give a cost, we're not in a commercial forum... i can't talk about quotes or else... i just say that we can use such a software and integrate to vB for a certain cost... you know a specific product that answer your needs, we can deal with the integration if it's in php/mysql...

btw, i will take a look at the commercial softwares that do most of your requests, and see if you can deal with a Group Project... if the software cost 100$ for an unlimited domains, i may be able to offer something similar ported to vB... also, i can contact a code creator to make a deal with 'em and make a complete recode to integrate to vB... but usually, this is not free...

i had some suggestions lately (last night) and i think to be able to provide a commercial web-cam portal in begining of august... point is that it will not answer all your requests, but once a basic system is built, any coder can create addons for it...

the requests of the initial post are far from large, and very basic, but i'll look forward to seeing your product.

every few minutes, streaming would kill the server unless it was done peer to peer and i'm pretty sure that would be all too much work.

yeah, most hosts can't afford streaming webcams for groups.. that's why usual streaming webcams are software based instead of web-based...

btw, there is some commercial hosts that provide streaming servers for a HIGH fee, and this can become interesting to host your webcam in groups... (shared server)
