i like it much, but i dont want to use cgi scripts...

I bought vbtrader when it was still in beta and wasn't really able to use it. Is vbauction from trafix too or is it a different company. Has anyone installed it?

Hmmm. What do you mean? Perl, Python, PHP etc, are all CGI so vBulletin itself is CGI.

vbAuction is not from trafix. vbAuction was created from the owner of ultimateauction

You know, I don't like the layout for browsing. It should show thumbnails for some of the recent / closing auctions at every level you browse. It's boring text.
