The VB Trader is made up of 3 different advertising sections

1) Auctions
2) Classifieds
3) Business directories

The LITE version is limited to Business Directories ... There are a 2 or 3 functions that apply to the other 2 sections in the full version and hence are not available for the lite version as well for example the hold function is only applicable to classifieds, members should not be able to put a directory listing on hold etc

I have also disabled all income generation functions for the LITE version as well which includes removing all PayPal gateways etc.

Business Directories are just that! ... im not sure your community topic but for a car site your sub categories could be ..
.. new retail
.. second hand dealers
.. motor macanics
.. panel beaters
.. blah blah

for a photography site you could have sub categories for

.. new cameras
.. second hand dealers
.. developing services
.. developing supplies
.. blah blah

community members who might actually offer these services can promote their services in there business directories

nice job trafix, i know you have been working long and hard on this for what seems like forever :) GREAT to see it out and being tested. I will go for the full version myself, well worth it :)

What all would we have to do or pay to get the full version? I would love to put up auctions on my site and stuff.

I am currently using this hack, at the moment there is no content in my business directories as of yet. But this shall add a new level of functionality to my forums.

When i started my forums it was for the UK , but because of this hack i am now able to serve the US community as well. Before with links directories etc. it would have been messy.

Once the search feature is implemented it think this will be astounding ... now all i have to do is attract the US Small Business's to our forums.

erm!! well after eading the post on vb.org this looked does sound very good and the sort of thing i was seeking.

I have installed HTL and I am sure followed the instructions with vb trader light.

I have attempted to install and can only get to stage 2, then i get "Could not add a Phrase group in the System!" So I guess I have missed something important?

Can some kind sole please enlighten me

Also how can I find more information for the full release please and thanks

Ok still investigating ....anyone else having this problem since this report?

I cant see any issues with the htl file .. i will discuss the matter with Kura incase the is an unknown issue with the HTL & Gold.
