Isn't there any sort of "server load vs scripts" logger?

Ie. before load gets higher than xx, i get a log of what caused it?

it might, but im not mysql expert :) thats why its always best to ask eva :)

Yep, query caching is only available in MySQL 4.x, I'd recommend upgrading to that for starters :) I'd also recommend installing MMCache, Erwin wrote a tutorial over at vB.com for it.

What does MRTG (or whatever you use to monitor stats) say regarding when the load is highest?
