I went with Uzipp, they seem to be very reliable from what i heard, and it's relatively easy to get in touch with them, plus i'm cheap

You think RackShack is alot?

And they don't just do dedicated servers;)

They do hosting packages as well...

I'm 17, have no job, yet I manage to pay half of a server with NTLDR;) - It doesn't costs hundreds of pounds, unless of course you are looking at the Dual 2.0 Xeon Servers with 1GB RAM, 1200GB Bandwidth per month, and 3 73GB RAID5 Disk Drives (146GB total);)

Then that would cost hundreds of pounds:p

http://www.viperhost.com seems to run vB nice.
Trust you Tony.... to be honest. VP's hosting services are less than good.

I forgot to mention that my current hosting is with iPowerWeb.com . While they are cheap and give you a fair ammout of storage and bandwith usage the up time and lack of customer support is just not worth it. I have to go in and repair my "threads" table about 2 to 4 times a week and constantly getting SQL server timeout messages in my inbox. For low traffic static websites there decent but anything other then that they SUCK!

I guess the saying you get what you pay for is true on the web as well.

I recommend LightningServers... http://www.lightningservers.net/ ...I haven't had an hour of downtime in the eighteen months I've been doing business with them. Although I'm receiving my hosting at half price (special offer that's long since expired), the hosting packages are a bargain even at full price, especially considering their exceptional support and reliability.

For me if there is'nt a phone number (without the 1hr hold) on the support link I'd rather not use them. I want to be able to call and speak to someone at 3am and get a definative answer to any problems. I've done this with Hostway.com (no affiliation) and beleive me it makes a huge difference.

Just my 2cents

Yeah. This is a WHT kind of confession.
