On my 56k most boards take 4 - 5 seconds to load. Unless its a really image heavy skin.

BC: It took me about a minute to get everything including images granted I havent visited the site before so none of its in my cache. The content loaded fast however, so Its denfently not to slow :)

PS. that sims 2 forum took me a while to load :S

my forums about the same.... i have no cashe headers on and i even forced a full reload


im on broadband, altho when i was on msn(56k) a few days ago my sites loaded rather fast :)

sorry to say that bar one of the above forums did not load in this second flat that you all spoke off and i'm on dsl

Not always - Broadband isn't always cable - Ours is satelite apparently (the company distributes it via a wireless network):p

Now that I'm using vB3 it's about 1/2 second... Before with vB2 it was always under 0.2.

Well your DSL must be faulty:p

I said around a second - When timed, it comes out as 1.14 seconds for me:)
