I agree that x-Box has some good games, such as Halo, but the main thing I dont like about it, is its size. The controllers looks like they were designed by a blind man with 12" long fingers. The console itself is rather large too.

I like the GameCube and PS2 for 2 main reasons, its size and power. Both are compact so they can be stored anywhere, and their power is prett good. I am also impressed by the size of the discs (GC) I cant remember the exact size (8mm IIRC) but it can hold 1.5GB of info, so thats cool.

im not a fan of the xbox when it comes to size too but get a Controller-S... thats the american controller, much smaller and nicer.

Eh, you just blew my mind.

All I'm saying is that X-Box has the most powerful hardware of any console. That's not an opinion, that's statistics. Whether you like a different console is irrelevant.

Actually I like Microsoft...hardware. I have a keyboard, mouse, and now game system from them, and my experiences with the first two is 100% perfect.

Besides, turning this thread into a heated debate will (1) not make me return my XBox, and (2) make me close the thread to stop the flames. :)

The XBox is huge, true, but then again, it's a PC crammed in there :D

I could always dismantle it and cloak it inside my PC...that would be uber :cool:

Bah, I was a big supporter of the ps2 until my frist one's laser bruned out. I bought anthor one witch lasted 5 weeks before the laser bruned out. Sony wants $300 each to fix them. :laugh:

For now all I have is my gamecube, but im getting a xbox soon. :).

On a side note: Yes I did try fixing one of the ps2's but the laser is gone, un-fixable unless I pay for it. The other one I havent messed with yet, still has the seal on it and it's really not mine (its my dads :laugh: ).

That laser problem you have, sounds like you were very unlucky. I've got 7 mates who have Playstation 2's and have never had that problem (including me). I'm sure you could've got a 3rd party laser unit for cheaper, they work too from what i've been told.

to me Micro$**** are money grabbing, hey i got nothing against windows mind u.

So you gonna stick on Linux or keep the normal Xbox OS?

Happens if you leave it in the wrong hands to chip, still aint replaced my laser. And if it is when it was chipped, is it originals or certain types of media?
