That could not be further from the truth. HiveMail is for webmasters who want to have a webmail system on their system, it's not meant to act as a server-wide webmail interface.

What i did was signed up at vBnl and entered and acted like a normal member..... Now I'm a crazed member with HiveMail :D

What kind of bandwidth consumption are people experienceing with hivemail. Im interested in what 100 or 500 or more accounts
consume in bandwidth

You might want to post at HiveMail's support forums but I'd imagine there's no way to accurately even come close to guessing. It's just like vB: it depends on usage, settings, graphics, etc.

I bought it during the April 1st sale. Best web deal I've ever done. Great product.

Darn, I missed that sale!

Apparently it was around $30 or $40. Of course, to my knowledge, vB itself has never gone on sale. I also don't put my software on sale because I think it rips off people who were a day or two off.

Some called it a tactic of desparation which I don't think was fair; besides, Chen sold quite a few licenses that day after reading all the posts here and at vB.com, so it seemed to work all right ;)

Heh, I hope they have a sale like that again sometime in the future... that was a great deal, I regret passing up on it. :(

I would totaly buy a license for hivemail if it was like 60 bucks... I really like that progie :) I am just sooo poor after buying vB... lol
