About the re-direction:

At a board I am developing, one of my developers did not like the fact that there were no more re-direction templates...

So I added a new field to the user table, and edited member.php, functions.php and user.php so that the member could decide whether to have re-direction templates or not - Think you could do that here?:)

It would stop the users who like re-direction templates from complaining;)

No serious hacking will be done here on vBulletin.org unless its deemed absolutely necessary as we plan on using vb3 very soon :)

Ok so you are upgrading soon - What is to stop people from making a re-direct?

And since you hacked it to remove re-directs, this would technically be an improvement upon the hack;)

Xenon: you mind showing me how you removed the redirect? That link on the first page (rediirect hack) doesn't work with all browsers...

Which browsers does it not work with?
