I would personally be very ++++ed off if my owned license upgrades expired say a day ago.

There is a version ready which will not be released to us, and once it is, I wouldn't be allowed to use it...

It's like saying "You can use our product as long as you buy it in today, however, we haven't put it on the shelves yet as we are waiting for a unrelated product to this to be released. Wait a few days and maybe we will release it."

My owned license with updates doesn't expire for another 4 or so months, but I find this ridicules, I would hate to find myself in this position four months down the line.
