Hang in there, Rose, the first one is always the hardest. You'll do great things here. ;)

Exactly what Boofo said.

Hang in there, because the first hack you create is very hard, and will need a lot of assistance. Look at me for example, look at my profile, I released my first hack ages ago, and it wasn't exactly advanced, and I needed a little help from NTLDR to do it too.

Then I released some very simple hacks after it, and they were extremely simple too.

Then I had a brainwave, read up on some PHP, and I literally read the PHP files and other hacks, and I started understanding how they worked and now I hardly ever need help, and I simply create away with all the ideas I get in my head. It's quite simple now.

So really, don't give up, just hang in there, and keep trying. Practise makes perfect, I can construct a fetch_array with while clause from memory now, and the reason? I kept at it, I went on and on with practising it trying different things and it finally clicked.

Rose, you're just getting started, so don't worry about it too much, you'll soon come out with a string of hacks that haven't been created before :).

Hehe I'm also saving up some hacking power for vB3, but for the first few weeks, i'll have to explore it, learn how it works, and see what features aren't there :p

yeah, get familar with the code, vb3 has completly different ;)
but you should be more experienced when hacking vb3 from what i know for now :)

today i looked again at MY first hack i released here. Really nice, for vb1.1.4 and in the main part it was just a great copy and paste thing with few changes :)

my second hack then was coded from ground up by myself.... and it was really crappy. a lot of queries which weren't needed.
this hack exists thist time but i have optimized it after a long time, so i don't have to feel ashamed ;)

i like the community here, and also that the female factore is increasing :)
go on rose :)
