If you would pay any attention to the news, then you would clearly see that I am linking to the other sites. Sh|t, don't you guys know how linking to news works? It's like a news hub that links you to all gaming news that's happening that day. We rarely copy their entire news thing, and if we do it's because it was very small and we still provide a link to their site. If you want in-house news, we have a completely other site for that. Don't come into my thread and tell me "you are stealing stuff", just answer the question I asked, or don't reply. :p

Just commenting on some things another member has said ;). And while giving links to toher sites are summarizing stories may be fine, direct copying may not be. An analogy may be that just because I put up a sign "this aston martin is owned by alfred b. charles" on my neighor's car, odens't give me the right to just take it. Don't take this is a criticism but rather as an honest advice that you shoudl be carefull over how you use any content that doesn't belong to you.

Erwin, do you happen to have your own forum or website hosted with them that I could take a look at? If it's a big site and all? I just want to see the loading speed on somebody hosted with them. Course I guess it wouldn't matter if the site was on a dedicated, since I don't really want to compare that since I'm not getting a dedicated.

As for linking to other sites, I understand you guys were just commenting. I just sometimes get mad that people are soo uptight about "stealing". I think all the sites I link to are more than happy that we link to them. They fall into 2 catagories.

1. They are small and love links to their site where my users see there site and what they have to offer.

2. They are so big, they could care less if somebody is linking to a small news post here or there.

Like I said, if they are large news posts, I take half or less and provide a link to their news post. My users see the news, get a little taste of the news, but to get the full details on the news, they have to click the link.

I doubt I am doing anything illegal as far as "stealing" content. If I was, they would just need to contact me and I would never link to their site again. :)
