I think putting [space] and [/space] is a little ridiculous if you want to add any amount of spaces in a message when the hack will do it with a button click easier and use way less code. Use it your way and see how the amount of characters adds up.

Indeed your way is far better. But this doesn't require hacking :)

This is one more time hacking would be a way better way to go. Your way would be way too cumbersome and way too much trouble for something so simple.
